Parents are welcome to visit classes whenever they wish.

About once a month, there may be special activities such as holiday parties, field trips, guest teachers (such as singers or storytellers), or other special events which involve the whole family. These events will take up part of the regular program for that day. We will let you know in advance what the program will be.

Please send a snack with your child unless your child's teacher has made other arrangements for a group snack.

We occasionally need substitute teachers, when our regular teachers are absent. Also, depending on enrollment, we may need classroom aides to help out on a regular basis. If you are interested in serving as a substitute teacher or aide, please let us know.

Please feel welcome to discuss any questions or issues you may have about the program with your child's teacher or the School Director.

The Congregation has a wonderful library of books and cassettes for adults and children. The library is in a walk-in closet in the West Room at the Cultural Center, and Congregation members are encouraged to browse and check out the contents. Please let us know if you would like access to the library.

Many of the Congregation's events are geared especially for families and children, such as our Family Shabbats, Sukkot Celebration, Channukah Party, Purim Party, and Passover Seder. You are encouraged to come and enjoy these and other Shabbat and holiday services and celebrations. The Congregation holds regularly scheduled Shabbat services at the Cultural Center and at private homes. Children are always welcome. Please check our Newsletter, website, and voice-mail message for the schedule of these services and other special events.
